A living creative project

What is
idreamofthought.org?

A place where writing, play, philosophy, and the half-lit spaces between them grow together.

↓ Begin at the roots
01 / Roots

Thought is not a straight line.

Thought rises, recedes, and returns. It gathers traces: a damp path after rain, the smell of woodsmoke, a sentence remembered incorrectly, roots meeting in the dark.

I Dream of Thought is a home for those traces. It is part writing archive, part creative laboratory, and part invitation to pay closer attention.

02 / The writing

Language as weather.

The writing begins with the sensory world and moves inward. It is lyrical, seasonal, introspective, and sometimes quietly strange. Poems, prose, fragments, and essays return to the same question: what is moving underneath what we can see?

There are no tidy answers here. Instead, there are roots, tendrils, memory, breath, fire, leaves, and the feeling that a place may be thinking back.

The mood of the site changes with the living year. A season is not a skin; it is a way of seeing.

03 / Portus

A game at the edge of the sea

What the writing imagines, Portus lets you inhabit.

Portus is a contemplative strategy game about building a fragile settlement, reading signs, and living with the forces that shape a place. Time, Chaos, Destiny, and Twilight are not just systems. They are pressures, moods, and ways of understanding the world.

The game is another branch from the same trunk: slower than conquest, stranger than management, and attentive to what the landscape remembers.

04 / The tree

One trunk. Many directions.

The creative tree is the map of the project. Each branch is a way of asking questions; each leaf is a particular answer, image, argument, or unfinished thought.
